Hurford Salvi Carr Property Management have just published a second booklet in their HELP! series of issues facing flat owners. This one is called HELP! I don't understand the Service Charge Accounts and sets out seven key questions that need to be asked. Although we call this an ‘Introductory Guide’ we believe the 48-page booklet will contain some useful information for anybody who wants to understand how their service charge payments are used.
What should you be looking out for? What warning signs might there be?
Hurford Salvi Carr started in Clerkenwell in 1996, and now has four offices in Central London. The Company is divided into six divisions specialising in Residential Sales, New Homes, Residential Lettings, Residential Investment, Commercial Agency, and Property Management.
The Management Office is in Hertford, in buildings we own adjoining the Castle grounds in the centre of the town. Nearly forty people, full-time or part-time, work in the Hertford office.
