Hurford Salvi Carr started in Clerkenwell in 1996, and now has four offices in Central London. The Company is divided into six divisions specialising in Residential Sales, New Homes, Residential Lettings, Residential Investment, Commercial Agency, and Property Management.
The Management Office is in Hertford, in buildings we own adjoining the Castle grounds in the centre of the town. Nearly forty people, full-time or part-time, work in the Hertford office.
We are pleased to welcome our new Building Surveyor; Sue Davis MRICS. Sue has written a short passage about her journey to becoming a Surveyor at Ashby Building Surveyors Ltd:
Born in Nottingham, my working life began in 1984 when I joined the Royal Navy as a Radio Operator in the Communications Branch. I was based in North London, so as well as a new home, the Navy provided me with a good grounding in life and team working.
Five members of Hurford Salvi Carr Property Management Ltd attended the 18th Annual ARMA Conference on 10 October 2013. The theme was ‘Raising the Bar’ which will be music to the ears of some residential leaseholders! With the introduction of ARMA-Q in 2015 managing agents will have self-regulation if they want to be ARMA members. For the first time members will have to comply with a Consumer Charter and bespoke Standards overseen by an independent Regulatory Panel. By choosing an ARMA agent you get higher standards, greater confidence and more openness.
